Aaj ki problem

Credit files aaj bhi haath se bante hain

Scattered PDFs, one Excel model for every dealer, field visits that nobody can verify, and no clear answer when an auditor asks “why this limit?”

Today: Scattered evidence

CIBIL PDFs, bank statements, GST returns, MCA prints and photos sit in folders and WhatsApp.

With Paarkho: One case file

Every document, bureau pull, GST and bank figure and photo is attached to one case, with its source.

Today: Rigid scorecards

One Excel model for every dealer and every season. Missing data quietly scores zero — or full marks.

With Paarkho: Your own methodology

Your pointers, weights, bands, knock-outs and seasons. Missing data is flagged, not rewarded.

Today: Ghost shops

Field visits are a tick-box. Photos get reused across files; nobody checks where they were taken.

With Paarkho: Geo-tag and photo checks

Phone GPS against the declared address, plus a check for the same shop photo reused across cases.

Today: No audit trail

Who changed the score, why, and on which version of the model? Auditors and RBI inspectors ask.

With Paarkho: A trail you can open

Every override carries a reason, a user and a time, against a locked model version.

How it works

Case kholne se decision tak, paanch kadam

The same flow whether you lend to retailers, dealers or small businesses.

  1. Step 1: Pick your methodology

Start from an industry template or clone your own. Set weights, bands, knock-outs, grade cut-offs and season multipliers.

  2. Step 2: Open a case

PAN, GSTIN, address. Upload financials, bank and GST files; figures are extracted for the officer to confirm.

  3. Step 3: Pull data with consent

Bureau, bank analysis, GST, MCA, PAN, Aadhaar (where permitted) and ITR, through your own provider contracts.

  4. Step 4: Verify on the ground

A field agent geo-tags the shop from a phone. The borrower interview is recorded only with consent.

  5. Step 5: Decide, maker-checker

Score, grade, suggested limit and red flags. Reviewers override with reasons. A branded PDF report is produced.

Scoring methodology

Aapke pointers. Aapke weights. Aapka season.

Rules can be score bands, yes/no, dropdowns or formulas such as debt ÷ net worth. Any pointer can be a knock-out. Kharif, rabi, festive or lean seasons move limits and cut-offs. Weights below are shown as a share of 100.

Audit & maker-checker

Auditor ka sawaal? Ek jagah jawab.

Every case keeps the evidence, the model version and each human action together, so “why this limit?” has an answer you can show.

  • Maker and checker are different people. Reviewers can override a score, but must record a reason.
  • Model versions are locked per case. Changing a template later does not rewrite an old decision.
  • Consent is recorded before data is pulled, with its purpose.

“Sample data” means the connector runs on built-in sample responses; a live pull needs your own provider contract and credentials. Access to bureaus, Account Aggregator, Aadhaar e-KYC and V-CIP depends on your regulatory status; non-regulated businesses typically use borrower-shared reports, DigiLocker or a regulated partner. Field checks

Dukaan par kya hai, ye phone se verify kijiye

Two optional layers that help the credit officer check what the documents say against what is on the ground.

Declared addressShop geo-tag1.8 km

Shop geo-tagging

The field agent captures the shop from a phone. The officer sees how far it is from the declared address.

  • Phone GPS, accuracy and a server IST timestamp
  • Distance from the declared address on an OpenStreetMap view, flagged beyond 500 m
  • Photo fingerprinting flags likely reuse of the same shop photo across borrowers
  • EXIF location cross-check

Video interview beta

Advisory only. It never scores a case and never auto-declines one.

  • Consistency of stated turnover and vintage against documents
  • Record in the browser or upload, with explicit consent first
  • Transcript made in-house, with no third-party video service
  • Optional, off by default: hesitation prompts for the officer. Not reliable across languages and accents, and never used in the score

Security & compliance

RBI aur DPDP ki expectations ko dhyan mein rakhkar banaya

The platform is designed around the practices these frameworks expect: consent, purpose limitation, human decision and an audit trail. Your compliance remains your responsibility.

What the platform does

  • Consent-based, purpose-limited data pullsConsent is recorded before a bureau, bank or GST pull. No access to phone contacts or media.
  • A human decision on every caseScores and flags assist the officer; they do not approve or decline on their own.
  • Audit trail for each actionOverrides, consents and model versions are logged with user and time.
  • Hosted in IndiaBengaluru or Mumbai regions. Each lender’s data is logically isolated from others.
  • Encrypted storage for documents and videoRetention follows your own policy; erasure on withdrawal subject to legal retention. No biometric template is created from video.

What stays with you

  • Your credit policyYou set the pointers, weights and thresholds.
  • The final decisionApprove, refer or decline remains a human call.
  • Your provider contractsBureau and data-provider agreements are yours.
  • Your regulatory obligationsMany distributors and suppliers are not RBI-regulated; NBFCs and co-operatives may be. Check with your compliance adviser.

FAQ

Aksar poochhe jaane wale sawaal

Do you replace our credit policy?

No. You configure your policy as a methodology; the system applies it consistently and records every override.

Can we move our existing Excel scorecard?

Your scorecard is re-created as a methodology (pointers, bands, weights, knock-outs). We walk through this on your own scorecard during the demo.

Which bureaus and bank-analysis tools can be connected?

CIBIL (commercial and consumer), Experian, CRIF High Mark, Equifax, Perfios, FinBox, Account Aggregator, GST via GSP, MCA, PAN, Aadhaar e-KYC (where permitted), Video KYC and ITR status. You use your own contracts. Each connector runs on sample data until it is connected to your contract and tested.

What if we do not have bureau access yet?

Each customer chooses how data comes in: Connected, Manual or Mixed. In Manual mode no connector is ever called and no pull consent is asked. Your team collects the credit reports, bank statements, GST and ITR from the party, uploads them and keys the figures; every keyed value shows its source document and who keyed it, and the checker approves as usual.

Can different products or seasons use different rules?

Yes. Clone a template per industry, product or season. Kharif/rabi, zaid, festive or lean-season multipliers adjust limits and cut-offs.

Is the video analysis a lie detector?

No. It produces advisory indicators, mainly consistency with documents, for the officer to probe. Optional hesitation prompts are off by default because they are not reliable across languages and accents. Nothing from video is used in the score, and it never auto-rejects.

How is borrower consent handled?

Consent is captured in plain language before data is pulled and is stored with its purpose. Withdrawal is honoured, subject to legal retention.

Who can see borrower data?

Access is role-based within your organisation, and each lender’s data is isolated from other lenders.

Where is data stored, and for how long?

In India. Documents and video are encrypted and retained per your own retention policy.

How long does set-up take?

Mostly it depends on how quickly your scorecard is agreed. We scope this with you in the demo rather than promise a number here.
